to everyone who answered this question i forgot to tell you............ im a boy scout ive been to not boot camp pursuay and im in National Junior Beta Club its not like im going to buy drugs or anything

Your parents are older and a bit wiser about the world (its most likely true). They now what happends out in the world and want to protect you from it as long as they can. Enjoy being a kid because it doesn't last long enough.

It's not that they don't trust YOU, It's OTHER people they don't trust...I'm a mom, and I guess that's how parents just are. Today, parents have alot more to fear than ever before. Try and understand them, who or what is the most precious person or thing in the world to you? Now, imagine that you've just lost it. And it will be gone forever....

Parents are scared... we were teens once to and we know the pressures to do things that you might not normaly do.
