What I've found works is if I use an intensive conditioner for dry hair (Trevor Sorbie or Loreal's Elvive maybe) then I use a leave-in conditioner. Revlon's 2-phase is really good but I think it's only available from salons. I use a heat defense spray after that to make sure I don't undo all the hard work.
I know it sounds like a lot of hassle but I think it's worth it to have manageable hair.

There is a fantastic (but expensive) product by Kerastase called AQUA OLEUM which is a small conditioning spray which you spray onto towel-dried hair after washing, leave for a few minutes, then rinse out. I swear by it. It's amazing. It lasts up to 5 washes, but i recommend you still condition with another conditioner after the other washes. If it doesn't help I will be shocked. you get 4 sprays in one pack it's about £21 and you can only by from UK hairdressers that stock Kerastase products, but you can buy online from www.lookfantastic.co.uk - look under Kerastase then, Nutritive.

use a good serum.
if your hair is chemically treated make sure u use one for that hai type.
i use paul mitchell super skinny but im not too sure if its for all hair types.
on the other hand try using leave in conditioner.
dont blow dry your hair till its bone dry, always leave it a little bit damp as the hair dryer will dry ur hair out making it like straw.
also when you do straighten ur hair make sure u put serum on before and tiny but after.
talk to a hairdresser maybe they can tell you what is best for your hair type.
hope this helps a little. :-)

I'm not sure if you are using professional shampoo and conditioner, but if you aren't... try it. You get what you pay for with beauty products and professional products aren't that much more expensive than store bought stuff. Redken and Paul Mitchell are two brands to try that aren't very expensive. Also, before you blow dry, apply a product that protects the hair from heat tools. Catwalk by TIGI makes a great product called Spritz and Shine. Happy hair days!!

well as much as i'd like to believe that the more expensive products are just the same as the cheap ones..its not true!
try using a product called keraste....you should really go to a salon and ask them to recommend a conditionng mask. most people do not use the right amount of conditioner on there hair either. i always condition at least twice..first time massaging it all the way through to the ends...good luck, keraste is defo a wonder range though

I actually put conditioner in my hair after I am done shampooing. I read that Cher does this as well. I use a cheap conditioner that you would normally rinse out like Suave or Alberto and just put about a dime-sized portion in my palm. I rub my hands together and put it on the wet hair.
You can also use Citri-shine hair serum (anti-frizz) on dry hair. It smells nice and isn't expensive.

use a strong moisturising conditioner.when you was your hair shampoo and condition then repeat. after you finish this, rinse hair with COLD water. it neutralises the static eletrons in the hair. every week use a moisturising hair creme and leave in for about 2 hours. when you straighten your hair protect it first with tresemme spray and finish of with John Frieder hair serum.
Maybe you should try other hair styles too. try curling it

I use a 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner to wash. Then put good conditioner (Tresemme for dry/damaged is good) on and comb through. Leave it on while I get showered and rinse off at the end. Then add a bit more conditioner, comb through and rinse straight off. Spray a leave in conditioner and protector before blow drying and straightening. Works for me!!

Aussie miracle shampoo, conditioner and three minute miracle is brilliant!! I used to have the same problem but I use these products and my hair feels fab. Also they do a spray in, leave on conditioner that helps keep your hair soft!!! Also John Frieda Blondes range is great too.
