if your brother doesn't care you can't really do anything about it .. just make him realize thats this is something serious by talking to him... but how old is your brother? if he is old enough to get to the hospital then tell him that if he was in that situation he would want her to be there and i am sure he will go to her side

Holy *****! That sucks. Perhaps your brother takes in bad news differently. I know when something bad happens to me or someone I love, I don't let other people know what I think or feel about. Then I'd start breaking down and I hate that. Perhaps your brother is the same way. Do not be to quick to judge his silence, as a sign of non-concern.

Send the family a card expressing your cares and concerns. Tell your brother to grow up. He needs to go see her. Now is not the time to be insensitive. She will need all the support she can to get better sooner. I am so sorry...

I don't know if your friends with his g/f but what I would do is somehow talk to him about doing something for her.Send a card, make a call, write a note, etc.
If he does not like her than he should at least acknowledge there past by consideration.

Do nothing. Why should you waste your precious energy on someone that could care less. I'm sorry to hear that. I was hit buy a car when I was 6 years old. We never forget it. I was lucky and walked away with a hurt knee.

It's his business not yours so I wouldn't worry about it. Be supportive: you might want to ask your brother if he wants you to go visit her with him. He might just be in shock or maybe the girlfriend's mom reasurred him that she was going to be ok and not to worry. Guys deal with things differently, don't like to be seen as vulnerable. He prolly thinks that freaking out might just make it worse, which is prolly true.

This really has nothing to do with you. Your brother should be mature enough to know that if his girl is in the hospital, then he should be making the effort to go see her.

You cant make your bro care or maybe he has a different way of dealing with it. What you can do is go visit her instead of crying how your bro dont care.

He's in shock and doesn't know how to take. Give him time to grasp what's going on and time for himself. When he needs to talk he will.
