Isn't it gluttony? and doesn't it seem wrong to have people stuffing their faces with as much as they can as fast as they can when there are starving people in the world?

I agree with everything you said. I think we should boycott eating competitions and ship those foods or the money equal to those foods and give them to other countries or bring them to where the food and shelter is in their country. There is no excuse for hunger in other countries.

most definitely. there are ppl who do this 4 a living who are eating at least enuf food for 5 ppl to eat and have seconds in a single competition yet there are children,men, and women who are starving to death in the streets right here in the US. if u dont find somtin wrong w/ that then you hav no conscience whatsoevr.

I haven't thought about that, but I do worry that some of these people are doing dangerous things to their stomach that enter these things on a regular basis.

i love the fries eatting competition and i would like to see a sticky bun eat off or maybe even candybar eat off or even pumpkin pie or sloppy joe sandwiches

I think they are wrong too. Probably unhealthy for the people participating, and disrespectful to people who don't have enough to eat.
