Actually, this is probably no big deal. However, if you contact the manufacture through their website, they may send you a coupon for another bag, or several coupons for money off future purchases.

A lot of brands of chips are provided by the same potato chip factory. They are just bagged in different bags and some of the spices might be changed out as well as the chip cutters when they do their run for each company. Sometimes when the switch over happens fast, they forget to change the cutters, then they see, change it and continue on.
My friend has a frying factory and they have to have some that are scooped and some that are flat and some that are julienned. Things like that happen.

Ooops, it's still good, go ahead and eat it. I prefer the ruffled ones anyway. If it really bothers you call their customer service number, on the bag, and you'll get some coupons in the mail. Is it really that big a deal? You probably got the first bag off the production line after they switched from ruffled to unruffled.
