USA offers immigration opportunites; The law specifies the application procedures/requirements. Until the USA changes the law, the individuals that enter illegally -regardless of their desire or intent - are criminals subject to prosecution.
Am I wrong??

The laws are on the books for a reason. It is not acceptable for a group of people to think they are above the law. Circumstances don't take away from the illegality of a lawless act.

You are not wrong so you must be right.
We do not need a comprehensive plan as Diane Feinstein and the liberal senate propose. Diane Feinstein stated in Congress that employer sanctions don't work. Well of course they don't work if you don't enforce them..duh...Their lame *** plan won't work either because...you have to enforce the law and you have to give law enforcement the tools and the incentives to enforce the law..
Instead of enforcement we have sanctuary cities. We have entire government bureaucracies that simply look the other way

I'm an immigrant. It took me a year to get here: a background check, forefathers to be original settlers, have a marketable trade, no criminal record, etc. I came here in 63 and was never without a job. I too am disgusted. And oh yes, a modicum of English was required.

I think you have hit the proverbial nail on the head. It is a law enforcement issue with the immigration law. Great point!
