Any ideas on a song ot anounce the bridal party into the reception. We are looking for something upbeat and fun to really get the party started. Thanks so much!

How about announcing them like you would people at a highschool football game? But add some funny details.... "Weighing it at a mere 40 pounds, this girl loves dressing her Barbies in monochromatic colors... introudcing the fabulous flower girl - Terry Jenkins!"

I went to a wedding where they played some music from Pulp Fiction and the bridal party danced their funky dances on the dance floor. It was fun! I think a song like "Dancing Queen" by Abba or something fun is awesome for the first dance! I think my fiance and I are going to do that... keep it upbeat and fun.

Is there a song that you love or that makes sense for you or where you are from? I just went to another wedding where the party was announced to "Dirty Water" - that song about Boston. The girls were all from the Boston area so it was cute!

It depends on what genre of music you're looking for. Being the kind of person I am (smarta$$) I would play SexyBack lol. Ain't No Other Man is a good song to play at a wedding. I just thought of another kind of smarta$$ one, but it could still be kind of a good one. Seeing as how a lot of guys say they're going after the bridesmaids at any wedding they're gonna go to, how about Beep by Pu$$ycat Dolls. All those songs are upbeat and fun though. Good Luck and CONGRATS!!!!!!!

When I was planning my big wedding I was going to have the wedding party walk in to "Hillbilly Deluxe" by Brooks and Dunn (my husband is big on country music) and we were going to pay for everyone to learn how to 2-step or square dance and wear cowboy hats... So... if you like country music there is an idea! Or, you could learn the dance from Dirty Dancing and have your wedding party learn the steps also...

My brother just got married 3 weeks ago, we walked into SexyBack by Justin Timberlake. It all depends on what kind of music you like. I was at a wedding and the wedding party walked into Men In Black...they had the sunglasses and everything, it was cute.

We went with "Enter Sandman" by Metalica (sp) It was great. A nice driving rock beat that builds to a crescendo for when you walk in. It's used a lot a sports arenas for the players intros. What's even better is there are no lyrics to compete with the MC.
