We were brought up not to do things like drinking or doing drugs. But it seems that when my brother went to college (total freedom!) he was somewhat influenced by his friends. He knows I know and he said that he'll stop, but eventually i found out that he hasn't! I know the effects of alcohol. It's like i've ntoiced that he's continuing because his friends do and he'd feel left out if he didn't! ( I tried giving all my advice but he doesnt care!) I really want to help but don't know how cuz im really not close to my brother. Is there anything i can do to make him realise what he's doing is wrong? (by the way, my brother is 23 now!)

Alcoholics will only change when THEY see it, when THEY want to. He will not hear you.

He is the one that has to be willing to give it up, no one else can make that decision for him. Even though you really want to help you can't and if you bother him too much he will continue to do it out of spike
