Just recently I have been hanging out and speaking with a lady, and it seems like we are taking things one step at a time. She has been hurt in the past, and so have I. I catch myself sometimes in a state of uncertainty in regards to wanting a relationship with her. It is like, one minute I am all for it, then the next I am wondering if I really should. Have you all ever felt like this? What does it mean?

Thank you everyone

Yes, it is common to second guess yourself after having bad relationships in the past. It might get you hurt again, yes. But, the only way to truly live is to let it happen, let love in and take the risk. It is alot better than living safely without love. Enjoy life, and if love hurts you again, just let yourself learn from it and seek out a partner who feels the same way as you do about love and life. Just please don't ever become bitter and hateful. Men and women hurt eachother every day. If you let it change you into a negative person, you let the person who hurt you win just one more piece of your happiness away from you. Good luck, have fun with your new love. :)

It means you may not trust her fully yet. No worries - if you spend time with her it will become clear which way you need to go.
