I am 17, I have never been to the doctor for leg fractures, but when I walk fast or jump I have lots of pains in the middle of the shin, that I can't do exercise anymore more. i am 173cm tall and 65kg in weight. I am normal in weight. what could this be? I have not had knocks in it recently. it was always like that this whole year (I increased 5 kg this year, i was 60kg before). why is it painful?

Sounds like shin splints - i have them at the moment - they're a m inor form of a fracture - like a hairline fracture up your shins, you get them from jumping around and running etc. To get rid of them you just need to rest your legs and not do any exercise etc.

When you do start exercising again, try buying new trainers - it was my trainers that caused mine. They weren't giving my feet enough support and were too flat at the bottom - try getting some nike ones, they're really good!
