My ex had everything going for him, he was getting toned, everyone liked him and he was done university and I am just getting my life together. Beside him I felt like a mess. He always needed space. I knew that one day he would find someone prettier or more successful so I ended it to save myself the heartbreak of not being good enough and having to look that in the eye. Now I'm lonlier than ever. What do you think?

sounds like what happened to me but now I'm the together one with a younger guy who is just starting to get his life together. I hope he doesn't feel the way you did and is secure enough not to break up with me the way I did when I was in his shoes. I still consider my ex the one that got away. such a waste b/c if I'd hung in there I'm sure he would have helped me better myself more than trying to figure it out on my own. nothing we can do about it now.

That's crazy. Don't put yourself down. How do you know he wanted someone like you describe? Boy woman think up some crazy stuff! Instead you broke his heart. Well I hope you learned a lesson from your crazy ways. Good luck to you.

You have some serious self esteem issues here hon and you may need to get professional advice from a shrink or spiritual leader.
