I have something. I've made it before its the best and my husband just loves it as well as I do!!
You can start out with a salad if you like
Main course
What you need to make the dish:
Bow tie pasta or his or her favorite pasta NO Spaghetti noodles
Pesto sauce (Classico)
Alfredo Sauce (classico)
Italian Sausage already cooked (can't remember the name)
Cheese Mozzarella or Italian Blend
Cook the pasta, then in a big baking pan add the pesto, noodles, and Alfredo sauce. Put in the oven at 400 a good while unless you heat the Alfredo sauce up then you dont have to put in the oven. Then add cheese on top, and put back in the oven. You will need to decide how melted you like your cheese. I like mine a little crispy. Anyway this is very quick and easy
Dessert your on your own

Baked chicken & vegetables.
Buy a McCormick Bag 'n Season cooking bag. Follow the directions on the package. Add vegetables in it. Throw in a few baby carrots, onions, and small red potatoes.
Make some wild rice or rice pilaf.
Add a nice spring mix salad.
For dessert, fresh strawberry pie with whipped cream. (The recipe for the pie can be found at www.recipezaar.com)
This is a very nice dinner for two. I use the McCormick roasting bags ALL the time and they are EXTREMELY GOOD! I trust all of McCormick products and recipes. They also have GREAT recipes on their site, too. Check them out. They have great pictures to show you and tempt you too. My hubby was quite impressed when I first cooked for him, and I did it McCormick's recipe way. Give them a try, HONESTLY!

Here is something that is easy and sure to WOW him...if you eat meat, of course. I recommend rosemary lamb chops with a side of wild mushroom risotto and asparagus. Everything is very simple and the only time consuming dish is the risotto because you have to watch it.
Lamb Chops
- Sprinkle with fresh ground rosemary, and salt & pepper to taste
- I recommend pan searing them on med-high heat, about 3 minutes on both sides. Then broiling them in the oven until they are done to your liking.
Risotto
-1 1/2 Cup arborio rice
-1 Cup mushrooms (such as oyster, cremini, porcini) chopped or sliced
-1/2 Cup light Sherry
-3 cans vegetable broth, divided
-2 Tbsp olive oil
-1/4 chopped shallots
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over med-high heat and add shallots. Let simmer for about 3-4 minutes.
Add mushrooms and let cook until juices start to be released into pan, about 4 minutes.
Add Arborio rice and sherry and stir.
Make sure all ingredients are well-blended and add 1/4 cup vegetable broth. Reduce heat to medium.
Continue to add vegetable broth 1/4 cup at a time, each time letting it become absorbed by the rice before adding more (this is the time consuming part) until all broth is used up.
Remove from heat and sprinkle in shredded asiago cheese if you like.

your cooking for a guy well romantic usually means italien with wine and candles. So I would say start with a nice casesar salad and then make a lasagna or some sort of italien main course with some sort of bread normally i would say garlic but if you want to kiss and stuff thats a bad choice. I think that is pretty romantic. But since it is for a guy steak is always a good choice if you know how to cook it right.

Michael B is correct but lasagna may be a little too time consuming. Try spaghetti and meat sauce or how about surf and turf (steak & shrimps) , baked potato, and a salad, with a nice dessert, and drinks. If you don't drink alcohol, there is grape juice that come in bottles made to look like wine bottles. Don't forget the candles and soft music. Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!
