Do you have the directions for your slow cooker? It will tell you. Are you sauteing them first? You should to give them a beautiful color. Are they boneless or bone in? Time will differ. Shorter for boneless. I would go 3 to 4 hours on low..... or as the cookbooks say, until the chicken is cooked and very tender. You don't want to overcook breasts as the flavor will go away and they'll become tough and dry.

if you just do chicken breast look in you slow cooker book and it will tell you how long to cook and done.
I would not cook it any longer than 2 hours. anymore than that it will dry out.

How much big is the cooker?
and much slow is cooker?
In normal cooker with 2lbs chicken it takes 20 minuted (approx)

3 peices of boneless, skinless chicken breasts take 6-8 hours. That is when I make bbq chicken. I read it right out of my cookbook. This is on a LOW setting.
