Can He? yes.
Will He? no!

No. If He interfered with our will it wouldn't be free, would it? If God said "you have the power to choose between good and evil, but whenever you choose evil I'll jump in and make sure nobody gets hurt", what would be the point of that? There would be no reason to choose good, because no choice we made would result in anything bad happening. Along with the gift of free will comes full responsibility for its use. How could God let the 9/11 attacks happen? He had no choice. It was a decision of free will made by individuals, and those individuals alone are responsible for the results of those decisions, not God.

That would be a no.
God does not make the choice for us. He will help us make the right choice through His Holy Spirit.
In the book of Deut., God gave man the option of choosing a blessing or a curse. He later adviced man to take the blessing and explains why.
Read it for yourself.

God is omnipotent (all powerful) and can do anything.

Free will is given to us so that we can choose good over evil. If we are trying to live our lives in the will of God, he will work with us on staying within his will.

If we do not choose good over evil, we may experience His wrath to try to get us back to where He wants us to be or he may be so frustrated that he will deal with a person wrathfully in the afterlife.

Have you ever known anyone who's free will has been "cancelled" by God? That just doesn't make any sense.

God gave us free will so we can make our own decisions, and also we are responsible for the consequences of our decisions.

So, God does not interfere.

Christians are to surrender their will to Jesus, so that they do His Will and not their own. That is what stops so many people from becoming Christians, they don't want to give total surender to Jesus, and thus they fail to follow Jesus.

Everybody here is going to have a different opinion on free will and God. This is something you should figure out for yourself.

Can God interfer with our free will? Probably.

Does He? I really doubt it. Even if it hurts us, we have to accept responsibility for the decisions we make and the actions we take (consequences).
