Is Homeschool for losers or cool people? would you rather be homeschooled or go to school

Both schools have their pros and cons. I've been homeschooled my entire life. I never had any problems. In fact, I liked it. I didn't have a whole lot of friends my age, except for the neighbor kids who were always either older or younger than me. But a good way to remedy this is to send the child onto a public school campus, even if only for one class. I went onto Middle School for elective periods and met 4 really great friends, one if which is over at my house almost every day (or vice versa).

I'm 14 and been home schooled all my life and I don't like it, I wish my parents would send me to school. One of the reasons I wanna go to school is because at school I can actually get educated (my parents don't teach me anything) and I want to play on a JV or varsity sports team (home schooling doesn't have that) And I've never been to school before and I wanna see what its like.

Now what do you mean by "Is home school for losers or cool people?" I don't really know what you mean by that so I'll say this, I know very cool homeschoolers and schooled kids and I don't think any of them are losers.

Home school is not for everyone and school is not for everyone, it depends on the person.

I'm homeschooled, have been all my life, and I'm a Junior. I'm glad I don't go to public school! I'm a grade and a half ahead already and I have no interest in being around people who avoid me because I'm smart.

As to socializing, homeschoolers are lucky! You can get friends from all sorts of different groups. I consider myself blessed because I have friends from all over the world! Personnally, I'm a very socialable person but I'm still glad I'm homeschooled. Without homeschooling I wouldn't have had all the wonderful opportunities that I've been given!

I adore it in my case, on the grounds that I might be bored out of my brain in institution. I've inspiration approximately going again to institution, however have determined in opposition to it. I'd both cross in to a hell I would not desire on any person, or I bust my *** for a 12 months to get in to a prime-stress institution that might be unchallenging however kill me with the workload. I'm simplest hostile to it while you are in, say, a quite rural field, in which institution is the one truly social possibility, or whatever like that. In that case, I feel that despite the fact that the universities could now not be that exceptional. you would be doing the child(s) a disservice. However, in an city field it is most likely exceptional. Suburbs are just a little problematic on the grounds that the whole lot is dependent upon having a dad or mum to be had to force till the children flip 15 or sixteen, however it is surely now not inconceivable and will paintings good.

the only way you are a loser is if you dont go to any school or dont learn enough in school to be successful after its over.

i went to public school and did fine but i have nothing against homeschooling if the kids are still allowed to have friends their own age and get to join groups and socialize

i think homeschooling is a problem when the kids are isolated and not allowed to experience the real world

I'm currently being home schooled and I'm in The 8th grade.I dropped out of public because everybody hated me.And all of those people who say home schooling is bad need to get a life because they don't know what its like to be left out of things and to be teased.

i'm homeschooled, i used to want to go to public school but now i'm glad i homeschool. i work fast and finish school by around 1 in the afternoon, i would hate to have to take all day in a classroom just because of the other ppl around me!! and it depends, in my town, homeschooling is NOT a loser thing, theres a ton who do it, we have a group (that sounds retarded.....um, but its a bunch of families that all homeschool and we have stuff like sports teams - i do basketball and softball, i tried volleyball, but didnt like it - and they have a lot of other stuff, like a yearbook staff which i am on, and a ton more) and theres a lot of ppl i know from that, and i also know a lot of public school kids. so it depends, sum weird kids are all isolated & are dorks, but most i know are cool. we have the normal stuff like the gothic kids, the goody-good nerds, etc....lol!!
