most definitely
I listened on our Christian radio station yesterday that a priest knew a 14 year old girl that watched the Exorcist (sp?) and she became possessed after watching it-he said she is in a insane asylum to this day.
I am very careful what I watch-it can be damaging to our Spirits

Chritians specially American Christians should not watch Pro American News on TV, because:
1. It is full of hatred against other people.
2. It shows violence all around the world.
3. They show Americans using violent behaviour against all others and don't promote peace.
4. It only shows the news which is desired to be seen from their own point of view, they are hypocrite.
Any one may rate it down but you will find it true.

i do NOT think God really cares what we watch at all .
we place to much importance on all these type things they basically our little judgements ,
should i dance ,should i play cards ,should i have a glass of wine ,should I should I .
what we should do is keep an open mind and realise that there are all kinds of different things we can be exposed to ,some sure our negative but it is a personal thing .
christians have a way of not thinking for themselves and allow all sorts of judgements into their life before they even experience something for themselves .
watch what you think is interesting and it if offends you then dont watch it .

Female Christians shouldn't watch Sex and the City, Girlfriends, and Golden Girls re-runs because those shows promote promiscuity (sex without marriage).
Male Christians shouldn't watch Dead Zone because it might cause religious confusion.
I haven't watched TV in years...sorry, I don't know any new shows.

Your TV is not evil, just your mind. If you don't like a show or find it offensive, you can turn the channel. Free will and all. If you are talking about other Christians or setting up guidlines for people to follow, then remember, "Judge not lest thee be judged."

I suppose things that are considered 'worldly'- that are unlike the way Christ lived. - Do we really want to be numbed by the murders/ rapes/ etc. detailed by the nightly news/ newspapers 3 times a day ?
Murder stories, shows about people who are rich/ famous, who idolize money in their lives, etc.
