Religious leaders use religion to control people.
From the fighting in Ireland between Catholics and protestants and in Iraq between Sunni and Shiite.
In Africa religion is fighting with each other.
In the middle east Muslims hate Jews and Christians.

Although I don't get the meaning, but I'll tell U about Islam. We live our lives as God told us in the Quran. The State sets the Law (to punish crimes) according to the Quran. Some Muslims countries vary a little, but not in the serious matters or stray away from the Holy Book, no way. I hope this is what U're looking 4?!

There is in fact a couple of small ones. You are not supposed to express any gayness. You are supposed to be like them and do like they do. You must attend regular meetings to be instructed on what to think about any and all social topics. Sometimes you need to get a little bit of skin cut off to make you one of the boys. There is at the very least an implied dress code. Sacrificing animals is not required anymore at least in christianity, not sure about Judaism but muslims still do it. There are lots more, but they are no great imposition if you want to get to heaven and not go to hell.

Judaism, Christianity and Islam ARE THEMSELVES types of social control. That's one of the purposes of religion.

In Christianity- the first set that I can think of are the Ten Commandments given from God to Moses and in turn presented to the Israelites.

well, theres no eternal hell in Judaism,
it does not claim that your screwed if you disagree.
it allows for challenging God, (several cases in the OT of people contradicting God without negative consequence)
and it also has provisions to adapt to changing times, when needed.
Judaism also does NOT promote evangelizing, in fact pretty sure theres even a rule against it.

The Old Testament is full of social control (laws, regulations) and so is the Qu'ran. Very little of either is spiritual.
