you adjust the center one for the focus
The ones on each eye are for your individual prescription.
set them at 0 or dead center between -_____0_____+
Then look through the binoculars focus them to about the best you can see with the center wheel....
Now leave that wheel where it is and close one eye and focus the individual eye focus wheel while looking at the same object. Turn the individual wheel until each eye is individually focused. Hope that helps

Cool. I never saw one that had focus on BOTH eyepieces. "Add details" to your question and tell us what brand it is.

they do that because sometime one eye is stronger than the other , you just adjust it to your taste
