If you are comfortable, the cats will be fine. After all, if they get chilly they will go warm themselves on you.

In the winter our cats spend more time on top of the book cases. Its warmer there than the thermostat says. There's probably 3 - 5 degrees difference from the floor to the top of the couch. Theirs is a much more vertical world.

Keep it comfortable for you and it should be fine for the cats. If you like to turn down the temperature when you are gone during the day, like we do, to conserve energy, just turn it down and then move it up a degree or two. Cats are super easy at adjusting (to most things!). If they have little beds that they use for sleeping, try lining them with fleece blankets, that will keep them even toastier! They will find a sunbeam to lie in as well.

Depends where you live. Winters in Florida are pretty mild. Winters in NY State are pretty bad. I live in NY State, and keep my thermostat set at 58 during the day while am I work. When I get home, it's set at 64. And at night, back to 58.

Cats like it warm so whatever temp you have the house for you to be confortable is fine for the cats. Cats internal temperature is actually higher than ours.

I keep my house at 66 degrees and my cats do fine. As long as you are consistent with the temp. in the house. Don't jump the house temp around, because it makes it harder on the cats to regulate their body temp.

between 65-75 degrees. Remember, most cats grow in their winter coat so they can stand it a little bit cooler.
