Would you rather be in a relationship where you felt "safe" (no big risks involved) and things are quite predictable, but you didn't feel very much alive in the relationship, or, would you rather be in a relationship which was unpredictable and made you feel alive, but you feel as though you are always on pins & needles because you feel as though you like her/him more than she/he likes you, but you feel like that person is worth it.

Which would you choose?

I would choose to follow my heart and my gut. Love isn't logical. Never was; never will be. To me it sounds like neither one is the right choice. There should be a happy medium in there somewhere. Pins and needles or butterflies and fireworks? I'll take the butterflies and fireworks anytime!!

You can also feel safe and alive!
You don't have to take big risks to feel alive, a huge love is enough.

Neither. But if I planned to raise a family, my children would do better with "safe and predictable"

Safety. That's why I'm only interested in FwB relationships — the only real danger there is falling for the person.
