inorder to install huge softwares, you will have to restart the computer so that the system is aware of the new guest home! for this reason the net goes cut and so the system reboots itself

Are you sure that you were TOTALLY disconnected? Usually when you install a new program, etc, it will require a restart in order to establish the new program that was installed.. BUT.. it will almost always tell you that it is going to restart or that it will require restarting and if you agree to do it now.. I always say yes and probably what happened with you is that it went ahead and shut down and if you waited a half a minute, it would have started right back up again
