I bought a new cooking product, & my fiancee used it without permission. It had not even been out of the box yet. Should she have done that or not? (not angry, just a fun question)

Probably not so much if it was a roommate or a sister or brother or something. But your fiance maybe a different story.

The hardest part for me was remembering that nothing was really and truly MINE anymore (I was an only child so this was such a rough adjustment for me). He was probably just excited to cook with it, better yet you should be excited that he was cooking lol...

You can tease him though about it saying "You little stinker... you took the fun out of being the first one to use it" or something of that nature.

I lived in a couple houses in college with up to 5 other guys. If one of us bought something it was unacceptable to use it first (and ever unless offered, but everybody always took little sneaks of thinks that didn't hurt anybody, mostly food or beer). Some people don't know about using other peoples things and you have to state that it is yours and you don't want to share (it happened a lot with things like toilet paper, tooth paste, shower stuff, where they always just used my stuff and never bought stuff for theirselves).

Its just a matter of respect. If I use something of my roomates, I will replace it at some point.

As far as with your family, spouse, or fiancee... with my family it was first come first serve!

that's no longer a scam. Ask her to deliver a pattern in case you're procuring in great quantity. If no longer, tell her to verify you face-to-face or make charge in an escrow charge and launch the money once you have won the entire products.

You seem a little bit to stiff. Why worry over a pot. If you over thinking a pot situation now I feel sorry for the marriage to be. You may not be angry but it's sticking in your mind or you would of never gave it another thought.

depends on what it is i guess... with cooking things i would say it doesnt matter as long as like i hope your lady made you something with it... but with like shampoo and such you should be the first one to use it and be the last as well... my brother uses my shampoo and shave gel and such without asking and i never get to use any of it...
