I am fed up with people putting daft questions on about religion. Its made me realise just how many nuts there are around, whereas before I didn't really notice.

Have you also notice, many questions they doubt religion. They know the answers but it is an effort to practise it. Better to sit on the side and point finger. That's way there is so many "daft" questions. At lease you can smell the rats mate!

I think it might be peoples insecurity and needing to know the meaning of life, is there life after death, is there heaven of hell, is there nothing else to come, is this all there is to life, they might sound daft to some people, but it is normal to ask questions, we could be nuts who's to say.

People ask questions about Religion because they, themselves, have doubts about it. If they didn't have doubts? Then why would they ask the question(s). They would be answering, rather than asking.
Quite frankly? The answers that they seek, are the answers they already know. And thus leaves me with this comment: "What a tangled web we weave, when we set ourselves up to deceive." Take it any which way. That's just my final answer...LOL.

Because it interests us. What interests you? I hope it isn't something I find daft - I mean don't you dare take an interest in something I don't happen to agree with. I would find that very upsetting!
By the way, why do you come into the religion section of Answers? Does it interest you too?

It seems that when people talk about "religion", the nuts come out. Also people want to bash the "religious" - go figure.

I concerned that a) you are surprised by the number of stupid ideas people have about religion, and b) that you are surprised about how many nuts there are out there.

Why are there questions about anything on here. Hello, It's called Yahoo! Answers, people want to know about all sorts of different things. There is also a lot about computers and relationships. Don'y like it, then don't get on Answers, that simple.
