Jehovah's Witnesses. I speak and say because of the experience of my weak-hearted mother (Whatever gods, bless her soul. She died believing in their teachings) who was prone to their mind control methods, back when I was a kid in the 70's. Naturally, I had no choice but to come with her to their religious meetings and get sucked into their mental control as well. Almost, but not quite. I kept leaving and coming back to them in my 20's. A part of me in the back of my mind wanted out of their organization, but I didn't know how to leave, because their mind control was so gripping. Thank goodness, the internet came out in the 90's and warned me that they were a cult, or I would still have been tempted to go back. I finally disassociated myself from them 3-4 years ago, through study of their cult and their methods from the net and books from the library.

Scientology. I never believed they were a cult till I saw last weeks 48Hours. It was mainly proven to me that it's a cult b/c of all the money those teachings cost. I mean it took thousands of dollars for one couple just to get to the clear zone. Jeez. Also the spokes person was obvolisy brain washed.
Also the Ku Klux Klan is a cult.
