There is a fine line- It is good to keep our minds on the kingdom of God- For OURS is the kingdom of heaven ( to those who believe in Jesus Christ that is)
But to do something drastic in order to get there- that is not right.
That is selfish.
Keep your mind on Christ- Keep anticipating the day you meet him face to face- if you are truly a believer in Him- if you truly love the Lord God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength....then do as God says and continue glorifying HIM while you live here on earth- sharing his great gospel of truth- and being a "light" to the world.

"Rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when His glory is revealed" 1 Peter 4:13

To think about heaven constantly is great but to try to get there faster, You just might miss it all together and end up somewhere else. God is the one that knows when he wants you there and you need to concentrate on what his plans are for you here until he calls you there. He isn't finished with you here yet. Store up as many treasures there as you can before you go.

David, There is only one to get into heaven and that is by accepting Christ as your savior. Anything else you do, any good works, anything to help someone is just a jewel in your crown and is pleasing to God, but it won't get you into heaven faster.

If you're talking about throwing away your life, that is the wrong idea. Everyone has a purpose and a reason. It is the figuring of it out that gets us into trouble. You should talk with a priest, pastor, councilor or someone you deeply trust about this.

Thinking and doing are two different things. What religious background are you coming from and why do you want to get to heaven faster.
God said in Exodus that we should not kill and I believe that this means forcing an early death upon ourselves.

If you are facing problems in your life that are making you think about suicide, Go and talk to someone fast. There is nothing worth that step, not even heaven.

I constantly think about heaven myself. I wonder what it is like, who will be there, what I'll be like etc. One thing I do know, I'm in no hurry to get there. I like living and worshiping my Savior, Jesus Christ from right here. When He decides that He is ready for me, then I will be ready but I'm not going to speed up that process.

If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to send me an e-mail. I don't judge, just listen, love and pray.

I have Heaven here on earth - an abundant life - and then in the hereafter. Also it's okay to think on Heaven - I do.

I also constantly think about going home myself. But you must be smart about this, we are privileged to heaven if we are loving & faithful, to GOD & to each other. So if you commit random acts of kindness, & truly love God, u will go to heaven when it is time.

Yes it is OK, You become a walking prayer offering everything you do and say to God through out your entire day. It is also a form of penance which is a very good thing not only for yourself but for other souls who are aided unbeknown to you.

It is okay to think about going to heaven all the time and you will get there when the time comes. But there is no need to push it

If you mean suicide then no that's a terrible thing. If going to heaven motivates you to do good things for others then go for it.
