My family believes in cremation then having the ashes scattered over the land, in a moving body of water (sea) or in the wind (sky). What happens to our physical body after death holds little importance compared to our belief that our soul will go to the Otherworld to feast with our deities and ancestors before reincarnating again.

I have dug small holes in the ground and lit candles to guide them to the underworld.

Starhawk's "A Pagan Book of Living and Dying" should help a lot, too.

I'm pretty sure that cremation is by and large pagan.
