can an anxiety disorder give you feeling like you are on drugs buzzing legs and strange buzzing head cause my doc says that what it is and has prescribed valium for me which i am collecting tomorow? my question is has anyone here had these symptoms and found it to be anxiey i dont really feel that anxious. I am thinking it could be related to something else.

i have recently been diagnosed with general anxiety disorder one of my symptoms was i get this rush of adrenaline feel like i have been on speed i talk fast, run about i do have other symptoms tho.my doctor says people can suffer from this without even knowing you could have this condition mild mine is much more severe as i do get other symptoms like constant worry, unable to sleep and fear of everything

Hmmm, anxiety presents itself in many different ways, if you find the "buzzing" to be either agitating or makes you feel weak and light headed than it's definitely unmedicated anxiety. Could be something else but I would give the valium a try.

I would definitely get a second opinion, especially if you feel it's something else. anxiety disorder is when you have a panic type feeling, like a sense of doom and gloom and don't feel like facing it...you could have something as simple as restless leg syndrome which does cause a buzzing in the legs.

We are all unique and we react differently to stress, anxiety may manifest itself in different ways, signs and syptoms may be different, that said take the doctors advice, question him of course, arrange an appointment to return to discuss how you are progressing or not for that matter.
Do not rely on the valium no matter how effetive it is, it very addictive and will add to your problems if taken for any length of time.
