Cooked up frozen package of pinto beans. They have the saltiest taste I've ever run across. Already put tons of pepper in the beans. Need help in how to remove the salty taste.

Cube up a raw potato & let the cubes sit in the beans for a while... the potato will suck up the salt. Then remove the potato & throw it away. *Note: it won't remove all of the salt, but it will remove quite a bit of it.

Drain the water off---til you add a little of water and the salty flavor is gone then boil til you get the thickness back in your bean juice. Some people say sprinkle a little sugar and that will calm the salt.one thing good is that beans can be doctored up easily..

Rinse the beans with cold water before cooking.

Put about 3 raw peeled potatoes cubed in big chunks in to them
It might even take more but the potatoes absorb the salt
discard potatoes

Just put a peeled potato or two in the pot - no sense in having to dig out cubes.
