Every case of cancer is different, so only the doctor who is familiar with every aspect of your friend's condition would be able to say this for sure. "Bone Marrow Cancer" is probably leukemia, where the bone marrow overproduces a certain kind of white blood cell and slacks off producing the other cells it is responsible for. There are SEVERAL different types of leukemia, some are more easily treated than the others. Chemotherapy can help, however, sometimes a bone marrow transplant is needed. If you want more information, talk to your friend and find out exactly what his/her condition is, and research it online ... or mention your concerns to your friend, and ask them to address them with their physician. I wish the best of luck for your friend.

Is it distinctive myeloma? My dad had that...its the main cancers of a undeniable type of plasma interior the bone marrow. regrettably it incredibly is not any longer cureable. My dad did an autologous stem cellular transplant. They accumulated some bone marrow stem cells from him, nuked him with chemo, and then transplanted them returned. That bought us very almost 8 years. throughout the time of the 8 years he fought that maximum cancers, we did see numerous advancements in medical care and there are some very promising gene-medical care based cures on the horizon. they think of myeloma will at some point be considered a persistent, treatable disease like diabetes and not be considered a terminal maximum cancers. distinctive myeloma is an quite sluggish-shifting maximum cancers. interior the time my dad had it, he usually had large high quality of existence. We traveled, etc. He died using problems throughout a 2d bone marrow transplant attempt. God bless you. maximum cancers rather sucks.

It is treatable. Don't worry, but don't delay. Either go to AIIMS or to Vellore Institute. Tata memorial Cancer Institute of Bombay is also good. One of my Uncles has it for the past 3 years. He is on chemotheraphy. But the treatment is a bit painful. They will extract the fluid from the bone marrow, every 15 days or so to test the progress of the drug. Everything will be all right. I shall pray to god to cure your friend.

This diagnosis makes no sense. Cancer of bone marrow is leukemia, and it is not graded that way. Many forms are very responsive to modern treatment.
