Try the book Motherless Daughters. I think they may have a website, too.--and area support groups.

Truthfully, the loss, the pain is never really over. It is too final for that - BUT, as time passes, God will give you the strength to deal with it.

One day, when you least expect it, you will remember your mother and you will smile because it will be something funny or some sweet advice she passed on to you. You will begin to appreciate things you had almost forgotten that gave you pleasure. It just takes time.

Make a concerted effort to dwell on the beautiful things she did or loving moments you two shared. Remember the love! It's no use telling you lies. But, know that this too shall pass! You most certainly will come around. It just takes time!

I'm really sorry to know that your mother has passed away. Just remember that she is in a better place and she will always look after you. Iknow right now it seems that you will never get over it, but soon you will and God is with you and so is your mommy. Since you will always have her in your heart. Just take it easy and go out and relax. If you have kids, spend more time with them and encourage yourself to be more happier for them. Including yourself. Go out and have a facial massage, or somethig to relax you. read the bible, I'm sure that will help. Also make a scrapbook for yourself to keep for ever and for your future kids. Take care and be happy, she is watching over you!

You don't over get over a loss. you just learn to accept it and in time it is easier to cope with. I lost both my dad and a baby in 2003 and I still think about them everyday. But it doesn't hurt as much as it did in the past.

I haven't lost a parent yet, but I imagine it's the sort of thing that never really leaves you, just gets a little easier as time passes.

I am sorry for your loss.

Take all the time you need.

Perhaps this book will help: When Bad Things Happen to Good People.

Trust in God. Accept comfort from others. It takes time, lots of time but the hurt numbs and then you are able to get on with your own life. God Bless You.
