I've got a big box of sweets for the trick or treaters, i've been giving them out since the first came at 5 O'clock, and now the bast**** have thrown eggs really hard at the window. what's the point if they don't even knock the door. I am so mad.

The excitement has all gone.
the question was by the way, what's the point.

I am calming down a bit now.
I wouldn't have minded but they didn't knock the door, just threw the egg.
My hubby is keen on halloween as it is.
But I've been looking forward to it for weeks now.
Your answers are all great.
I'm in Wales for the one who asked.

The point is, you should get a dog, Where I live we have very polite trick and treaters ( I live in a small village) I also have a long drive way from the road to my house., so although I do not mind the children coming, they never do.Either they are too lazy to walk the distance or they do not like the dog, which is a shame because my dog loves children.she gets so excited when she sees any through the bars of the gate!

That is out of order...... egg is i nightmare to wash off.

Don't let a few ill-mannered children put you off, just think of all the kids which come to the door excited and polite - Halloween is for those who follow the rules.

P.S have a few big buckets of cold water ready to throw over the little sh*ts next time they come near your home with eggs. Tricks work both ways.LOL :)

Hope your Halloween spirit returns soon......

I don't know what the point is to be honest, our door bell hasn't rang once yet, thankfully. I think because our local police force have advertised a campaign to warn kids off being intimidating to people, they get slapped with an £80 on the spot fine if they get caught!!

I hate the whole trick or treating thing too ... where I live, you get a few kids who want sweets, and that's ok, but you also get big gangs of teenagers trick or treating and they don't want sweets, they want money.
I usually disconnect the door-bell...

You should just pretend you're out, then they'll go away. Kids these days are so ungrateful, rude, etc. Your money would've been better spent on something for yourself than on a box of sweets.

i don't blame you, the rotten thing is the little bast**** that did it have now gone, but your not gonna be in the mood for any innocent little ones who come now are you? sit down and have a few of the sweets, you might just feel better.
