You will be paid the same with the exception of flight pay which would give you a little extra. The pay for all branches of service for that pay grade are the same regardless of the job that you do. Some jobs just give you "extra" pay for more special qualifications.

Lieutenants don't fly helicopters. Warrant Officers do. A pilot gets flight pay so they make a little more than someone of the same rank in a different field.

They would both get paid the same if deployed in the same area...hazard pay is the same.
(but given a choice I don't know why anyone would want to be an infantry officer...)

The pay rate is the same across the board. The only difference is time in service. (2,4,6 years etc...)

It's all about time in grade, time in service... but you can get extra money for 'special skills'... combat pay, jump status, languages, etc.... and then there are the additions for COLA and separarte rations... anyway, it is easy to get all the figues, but basically, pay is by grade (rank)....
