No offence meant, but do you always expect us to sleep with you?

I can't believe most of these answers although i expected it. It's just that I really love men, but I don't want to sleep with all of them, but I still want you as friends, but you get so offended! Sigh!!!!

Men and women treat opposite-sex friendships very, very differently. It's the way we're wired.

Men pursue women. They chase women. They court women. It's very tough for most men to grasp the idea that a woman is a great conversationalist, a walking advice column and all-around cool to hang around with.

90% or more of men will be friends with a girl under two conditions:

1) The girl isn't attractive/available but is hoping to hang out with her friends to get networked into a relationship, and:

2) They hope the friendship leads to more down the road.

Once a man realizes there is NO CHANCE of a relationship forming, 95% of them will not bother. The intelligent 5% will respect your boundaries and realize that you have nothing less to offer than a male friend.

Women on the other hand, can toss romantic emotion aside with a man and very comfortably stay friends -- an idea lost on men.

So do men ALWAYS expect it? No, not always, but we're talking over 90% of them. Don't take it too personally -- it's human nature for them.

I never expect anything from anyone initialy. I do believe we can be friends with all sorts of different woman.

However do I have feelings of connections that say run a little deeper to a female friend versus a male friend? Yes I do. I fantasize about some of my female friends from time to time. But as a gentleman, and by knowing the value of our friendship I do not act on these impulses.

Does this answer your question?

No. We dont always necessarily want to sleep with all the women we meet. Wouldnt turn it down if the offer came along but its not always the "goal" to sleep with every woman we meet. I have a few female friends whom I have no interest in sleeping with. Saying that, when we are out clubbing etc we do look at women and wonder... (maybe thats just me!!!)

No. I know ladies and they are no more than friends. We laugh and talk about all kinds of stuff. So, yes you can be friends with the other half.Don`t get me wrong I still look at them, but now it`s in a different light.I hope this helps clear some of this up for you.Younger men still need some time to see the difference.

No offense taken, but by the same token, do you really expect us to be your girl friend. Face it we are men, we are hard coded that way. But aren't guys that are friends with girls, just a safety net......

I do have some close women friends, very good women friends....have I slept with any of them. A couple yes, A couple no. I did I want to? Hell yes. the key is we had to get past our natural urges....once we were able to do that, things were ok. the final answer is yes, we can be your friend, but we won't be your girlfriend.

Depends on the mans orientation i suppose. Straight and single mostly yes. Of a homosexual persuasion mostly no.

if you are not my wife, i could i expect you to sleep with me?
you know there different class of people, that they called some casanova, maybe it is this kind of people you are refering to.

as for me i don't think i would want to have you as friend and the next thing i be thinking of is how to sleep with you.

though i tell you this also as it is for the man so it also is for the women too, for there are some women too that the only thing they want to get from the friendhip with this guy is to sleep with him.

so in nut short define your relationship from the begining and from there that will be your telly guide of his or your decision as you go on friendliness

It's absolutely IMPOSSIBLE! I can be your friend and have sex with you but I can't be just your friend unless you're ugly of course. I'm sorry but it's true! it takes a man to admit it! get used to it, that's why we are opposite sex's remember? And besides don't come up with stupid stories like...oh I only like you as a friend (translation - I'm sorry but I'm not attracted to you ugly boy!) . If you go out with an attractive man you THINK ABOUT SEX! don't deny it! It's hormones we can't resist each other. any pretty and hot girl is a potential sex partner.

Nope. Mature guys can have many women friends. Often this leads to some great conversations and introductions to other women friends. Most guys who are self-confident (not cocky) can have many girl "friends" and a girlfriend who understands that he is not in "conquest mode". But it takes someone who is mature and understanding.
