I sell my sister's used college texts (I bought them) on half.com.
I do it b/c you can just leave it up there indefinitely until it sells.
Keep in mind that they do collect a commission. Just look at how much others are selling the same book for.

the best place to sell back college textbooks is Textbook411.com , they buy them Direct for cash (so you dont have to wait for someone to come along that needs that particular book like with eBay , amazon, or Half.com)
They pay good prices for used books and have a great reputation. (they are also a great place to Buy books)

Try eCampus.com.
But your best bet if you know your textbook is still in used by many schools, sell it on ebay.com.
