i know guys are attracted to that but honestly, i wouldnt want to attract a guy that way. all the girls at my school dressed really skanky for halloween but i didnt. and the guys only talk to the girls dressed half naked. im a prettty chick but no one looks at me because i am more conservative. whats with that guys?

Stay on the high side. Just because they want to play in the gutter doesn't mean you have to. Let them raise their standards rather than you lowering yours. Don't worry, there will be plenty of guys. Guys just tend to move towards the easy girls and sluts first and then soon get bored and remember their standards.

Suzie, be yourself, nothing more. The right guy will come along and that will light your fire. Any female can get attention by exposing thier body, hell, a 3-year-old can figure out that they get giggles from adults if they run around naked! Move up the ladder and keep your class! The guy that can make 'your' dreams come true is not the guy that follows behind a gal showing her bellybutton. Whores do that, don't be one of them.... Happiness comes from relationships that like each other for what they are, not what they can take off. Any male with 'equipment' wants to use it, and when U give in, he moves on. The male that is relaxed around you will stay, get marreid, raise kids, and retire together. If the jock jumps for the higest skirt, then he'll leave U when another girl lifts hers higher.... Get some hobbies, read books on nanophotonics and get a Ph.D. in nanoscience, and you'll make $500,000 a year. Be yourself, never do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, and be the time you feel like being adventursome in bed you'll have the maturity to enjoy it.

I know that girls dress that way because they want and like the attention they get from dressing that way for some it makes them feel pretty. You would be surprised to know how many of those girls have low or no self esteem. What the girls don't realize yet is that yeah all the guy's are looking and talking to them but all they want is sex their not looking for anything else but that and once they get that their gone and it's on to the next one. Now guy wants to bring home a girl like that home to meet his mom. You don't want a guy like that. Just be who you are there's nothing wrong with being conservative and you'll meet the right guy. Besides for those girls all they may have is their looks that won't last forever and you seem to have alot more then that so be proud to be you.

I'm not sure these girls are responding to the attention from guys, I think they do this to make other girls jealous. This isn't just a highschool thing either. We were at a welcome home for marines from Iraq and the wives looked so stupid, not only were they barely dressed, they were usually fat and smelly too (cigs will do that to ya). You can tell who the officers wives are because these women look like , well they look like women. They carry themselves well, know how to have a conversation and don't dress for attention. You are doing the right thing and the right guy will find you soon enough. Trust me it's these skanky girls that will be chubby at the 10 year reunion!

guys are visual first, tactile second, and everything else is tied for third. So first it's gotta look appealing skank-wear usually does. Second its gotta feel good, skank-wear wearers usually do and usually allow contact (not full out sex in the halls, but contact). then everything else comes into play and a month down the road they break up. however the first 2 criteria are the most important. if you are conservative, and dislike skank-wear, then at least pick some more alluring clothes, and allow an arm on the back, or perhaps brush your arm against theirs. these things will give you better odds. They like women who are ballsy enough to let it all hang out. I'm sure you're pretty enough, but let's face it — that never means s-hit to guys. What you could do to get noticed is dress sexy without being skanky. A (SUBTLE!!!) hint of cleavage and a pair of snug skinny jeans will be enough. Also, try to act as confident as possible. Nothing's more attractive than a confident woman.

You have more class than the other girls. don't change to be like them. Stay as you are. As people get older, the men tend to favor the classy intelligent hard working girls, not the skanky type scrubs who only know how to spend money at the mall

Our culture and media promote showing off your body.The girls who dress that way are probably not even aware how skanky they really look.Try and develop your own style don't be afraid to be your self. Self expression is better than showing skin.You can look cute and sexy without being skanky.

The guys talk to those girls, but do they respect them? The answer is probably no. You seem to be strong by not going with the peer pressure...this will only help you and make more serious, mature people interested in you. If you take yourself seriously, other people will too!

dressing up for halloween is not about getting guys to look at you based on your good looks, hell you have all year long for that
if you really want people to notice you try to have a creative and unique costume that lets you stand out because of your talent not your looks after all the spirit of halloween is about spooky fun not dating
