do you mean like marriage interviews?? I have been in many interviews representing my clients. Although I cannot disclose the specific nature of my clients' interviews i can honestly say, if you have all the required evidence needed then the interview can be a breeze through process, but if you are not well prepared, the interviewer will grill you and your spouse for hours separately and may ultimately deny your adjustment of status. my advice for you: preparation is the key to a successful interview. Practice, practice, practice, know everything there is to know about your spouse, every little nuances, every little detail counts...compile as much evidence you can of your bonafide marriage...also...there are some SOB interviewers who will give you a hard time for no apparent reason....just hope for the best you dont get a SOB interviewer...good luck!!!

yes.... i had on recently.... my interviewer did not speak very good english... which made things hard.... but it was good.... they took forever to call our names (apparently, at lunch time they all go on a break and leave us to wait).... but we were prepared.... we had all our paper work ready.... even though he hardly looked at anything.... just asked me about my education (my phd, masters etc), and how my husband and I met. Asked about why we bought a house intead of rented since i moved to another state since we applied for school, he asked about the job my husband got to move w/ me, we decided to show him our bills etc, so show we had stuff together.... he took all those copies, bank statements etc, he took our marriage license, etc.... asked us some other stuff, but i forgot what... nothing important.... it was mostly sitting in silence while he read my file, and looked at me, etc... and repeatedly asked me how we met and dated etc....then said we would hear about the decision soon.... let me know if you need anything else.... it was pretty easy if you show them you are very prepared....but be on time, depending on where you go, it may take a while to get through security, it took us 1 or so hours, we got there almost 2 hours early

It was stupid. The chinese lady interviewing us spoke worse english than my German wife. She threatened to deport my wife. I told her to stop on the way home and pick out a box to be buried in...
We got our adjustment.
