If you're using a Windows PC, do the following for a simple solution:
1. Right-click the required folder or file within the video or music program and click Properties; check the Hidden box in Attributes.
2. Now open the Folder Options from the Control Panel or from the Tools menu within the Explorer window, select the View tab and confirm if the 'Do not show hidden files and folders' button under 'Hidden files and folders' is selected by default. If not, check it and click Apply or OK.
3. Close the window and try to view the same files or folders. See or not see now?!
Else, use the NTFS file encryption system with Recovery Agent (Windows 2000/XP) to encrypt your files.
Or if you want a professional solution, go for software like Cryptainer, Folder Guard, True Crypt, File Lock, etc.

Use a program called folder locker, to access the folder you will have to put in a password first. Even if the files are transfered to another pc they will still need the password. Good for hidding stuff. Re-name the progarm though, if you are trying to hide something, as folder locker really gives it away.

you don't need programs. go to a little used folder, create a "new Folder" and place about a hundred "new folders" in there don't name any of them. now, remember which one you do this to, and randomly pick a numbered new folder, then place a hundred mor new folders in that one. you might want to do that with a couple. then place your videos, pix, whatever, in a "New Folder" pretty far into the list. then--this is important-- to keep it from being found at all, right click on the file, and go to properties. make it hidden AND change the permissions. do not allow anybody to go into it, read it, anything. including yourself, because you can always change that, and someone who is on your logon can find it. you might want to hide the first "New Folder" and change the permissions on that, too.

use a software called folder guard.
Other option is to hide drive and unplug certain drive where you store those.
Best is to use folder guard which allows you to hide and put password on certain folders.

If your PC is a Macintosh, you can use Disk Utility (it's in: /Applications/Utilities) to create an encrypted disk image where you can store those files.
