first of all, star...this is not Dr. Phils forum. if you don't like whats going on on this forum than get lost. Second, sorry about your b/f but honestly, what do you think anyone in politics on YA is going to do for you? Try another forum.
As far being called racists. I'm not a racists because I want something done to stop the illegal immigration. That makes me American!!! And, it takes a real pathetic and stupid person to not see that. So, call me what ever you want...I don't give a sh!t. I'm American and that's all that matters. For all the other dumb as$ names that stupid people come up with....bring it on. I promise, I won't be crying a river!!!!

Because you are. They find a shoe suddenly fitting quite well on their foot and they don't want to be seen wearing it.
If a person is not racist, he should not be offended.
By the way, I get sick and tired of this "Don't use the race card" whining that some people do. It's like, we can stand by and allow certain groups of people get treated like animals, but they better not say anything about it, because it would make us feel bad and our feelings are the most important, of course.
Screw that, I'll use the race card whenever it suits me.

I don't,the race card has no affect on me. I know who and what I am so someones name or label doesn't bother me.Perhaps you are right maybe the real racists know who they are so they respond when you say they are racists.There are many many racists on here and they are on BOTH sides of the issue.

I have seen the same thing you are describing. The ones who say, "Oh, I'm not racist. They call themselves '*******' so it is OK", and so on..
The truth will set you free, but first it will urine you off. Most of us are racist. It is not a question if if you 'is'or if you 'isn't', but a matter of 'how much'? .. Once I was able to face the racism in me (not as bad as many people) I was able to work on reducing it.
Very perceptive question.
