God is an abstract concept just like Time ...
why do people think killing anyone who does not worship the same god, in the same way as themselves, is justified?
Especially when EVERY religious book says "KILLING IS WRONG"
we dont kill each other over how to tell the time!!

I always find it interesting that the most basic rule of any world religion ("Don't kill") is the one that so many adherents of religions have such a difficult time grasping. It's almost like they see an asterisk next to that commandment that no one else sees.

god is an abstract concept but so is murder.
do you think a lion has any problems killing a antelope or worries that the other lions may think of him/her as a murderer or that the other antelopes may press charges?. why are we the only animals on the planet that is punished for what come naturally to everything.
people don't not kill each other for worshipping the wrong gods they kill each other because we are predators it just society needs a excuse now if you removed all religion then nationality would be the reason or any other difference between two groups of people
just because we have evolved the ability to use tools, imagine or create art why should we assume we are better than everything else on the planet or that we should be punished for natural behaviour. if you have ever eaten anything then you have killed, even vegetables are alive and have to be killed to be eaten.

Correction: Every religious book (and I'm not sure of that) says MURDER is wrong. Killing, on the other hand, is justifiable in many ciricumstance ranging from self-defense to war.

However you understand God, Killing is wrong in all sensible religions, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism etc, etc. except ONE.

But we all know who I mean.
One of these people recently compared women to meat.
Is this how they think of a woman?
