Your six month wants to play. I usually tell the other dogs its a baby. My five know and are great with little ones but puppies are puppies and they want to play. Throw a ball with the older one and watch the little one run behind. Be sure the play focus is on the older for the time being and cuddling and loving focuses more on the baby.

When the baby tries to hide pick her up. You be her comfort so that she learns you are the one to go to if there is trouble. This is good even for later in their life. You should be alpha not just as dominant and controlling but also as the care giver. Often a misconception for those that think they know what alpha is. Just like children you have to take care of it all to have a healthy well balanced child or pet.

Never let the older one get too rough. You have to step in and be alpha to them and let the 6 month old learn how to play gentle by teaching the down stay and gentle command together.I have two big pit Bulls and they have learned they can only play with little dogs when the sre on there belly's.Its cute to watch them play with the neighbors poodles.Good lUck!
