Krishna, in the Bhagavad Gita, says: "I am . . . father of the world, its mother." Does this mean that Hindus, or at least Vishnuvites, believe in the duality of the deity/supreme power? Similar to the Wicca idea of god and goddess, equal?

Yes as per Vaishnavites, there is duality one is God and one is Jiva.... their faith is based upon Vishishta Advaita which confirms that God, Nature and Jiva are eternal

However Advaita Vedanta and Tantra confirm the non-duality...and surprisingly they do not contradict duality rather they give explanation for duality

As per Tantra the Supreme consciousness manfests as Shiva and Shakti and together they create the universe.

Hence both of them are correct in their perspective...and Tantra proves both are correct.

You have not mentioned the Sloka number, but I take that you must be mentioning to BG 9.17, where Krishna says,
"I am the father of this universe, the mother, the support and the grandsire. I am the object of knowledge, the purifier and the syllable om. I am also the Rg, the Sama and the Yajur Vedas."

To understand this sloka, we must understand the context.
Krishna says before this sloka,

"Others, who engage in sacrifice by the cultivation of knowledge, worship the Supreme Lord as the one without a second, as diverse in many, and in the universal form." 9.15
"But it is I who am the ritual, I the sacrifice, the offering to the ancestors, the healing herb, the transcendental chant. I am the butter and the fire and the offering." 9.16

So Krishna is telling to those who are trying to study the universal form by cultivation of Knowledge, as to how they can realize him. Father is the cause of our Birth and Mother is the one that nourishes us. So Krishna is both the cause of our Birth and Cause of our nourishment and maintenance. Thus he is both Father and Mother.

This sloka does not convey Male or female form of the Lord.

According to Vaishnav Philosophy, the spiritual concept of male and female is completely different from the Material concept of Male or female. In Material concept, Male and female are differentiated in terms of Material Bodies. But in Spiritual world Male means Controller and Female means Controlled.
Hence Only God is male or controller and all other living entity are female or controlled.

No, it sounds more like the idea of the trinity,
where the father and the son are equal and different, but the same. but the father is greater.

God gave himself as his son to die for us, but God did or cannot die, but he did die cause God was resurrected, by God, or himself.

In heaven the son has a God, but is God?
