Congratulations!!! You are NORMAL!! No one who believes Jesus has "Christian" feelings all of the time. Being a Christian is more a question of obedience rather than feelings. I commend you for having the honesty to admit your feelings. Well done.

"How beautifully Esther's words picture this identification of the believer with the death of Jesus Christ. This is not yet the realm of the soul, the emotional life, the feelings which are subject to change. Rather, this concerns the realm of the spirit, the deepest part of man's nature. What this declares is that down at the very deepest level of your life a fact has taken place from which all deliverance will stem. It means that if this has occurred, whether or not you feel like a Christian, you still are a Christian. Christ's death for you and your death with him are unchangeable facts, and nothing you do or don't do can affect them.

This is a truth we greatly need, for until we begin to believe what God says is true about what happened to us when Jesus Christ died, we will never have the confidence to accept the deliverance that he has based upon that truth. If you once died with him you are not the same--you never will be the same again. Even though temporarily you do fall into sinful acts which are the same as those you committed before you were a Christian, still you are not the same--you cannot be. You have been transferred, the New Testament says, "from the dominion of darkness. . . to the kingdom of his beloved Son" (Colossians 1:13), and the evil one cannot lay his hands upon you any longer. You are not in bondage; you are a believer and your deliverance rests upon an unchangeable fact. "

That is because we are in a warfare and Satan knows how to get to you. That is why we cannot live according to our "feelings" but we must have faith in God that He (not us in our own strength) can finish a good work in us. And, yes, this only works when you have a "relationship" with God. What DOES help is to talk to God when you feel like you just described. Tell Him you don't feel like being a christian that day and that you need some extra special help....and then BELIEVE that He is going to give it to you.

The more you talk with God, the closer you will feel. Someone once told me to imagine what it would be like to crawl up on the lap of your father and talk with him. It really worked for me. God seems like such a huge figure, and I seem so insignificant, but when I put it in a father-child relationship, it became easier.

When you become a Christian you are born into God's family just like you were born into your natural family. If you don't feel like your dad's son it doesn't change the fact that he is your father. If you truly repented from sin and accepted Jesus's forgiveness you are saved. This is not based on feelings.

Why don't you know? A god is not Santa Claus waiting to make you happy. Quit hanging on his apron. Who said you had to talk to him? You mean talking to yourself so you can validate your beliefs that you don't really have. You have to have a need in order to have a need to create. That is why man created god. Not the other way around.

absolutely. If you do not have a relationship with God how will you ever get to heaven. To get to heaven you need to believe Christ died on the cross for our sins and have a personal relationship with God. I hope that answers your question.

Yes according to scripture you must have a close personal relationship with him.
Sometimes you are not in the mood to talk with God that may or may not be okay.
But when you stop praying the devil laughs and applauds.. I dunno just dont turn you back on God. Always love and trust him..

I believe you do have to have a relationship.I believe that you should always be growing in that relationship with christ. Sometimes i am not in the mood to play with my kids or go see family, but i do because they are family and that is my job.The same with GOD.He is your father and in the mood or not you should grow with him

You cant ever trust your feelings. When you feel that God has "withdrawn" from you, your faith is just being tested. Pray to him when you feel like he isnt near you. God loves these prayers more.
