Sorry, but your experience is just as likely to be proof of psychic powers, ghosts, or even aliens than it is to be proof of god. Or it could be exactly what it is, an amazing and fortunate coincidence.
Edit: "but I know, I was there."
Ahh, and there we have it, back to the bottom line of every theist argument. The only place it can ever wind up. "God exists cuz I say so"

Yes, but...
Do you remember all the times that you had a bad feeling and
checked on her and NOTHING was wrong? If you don't take
those into account, you are using anecdotal evidence of God's
existance, not statistical evidence.
Its amazing what you can prove with selective result
management.
I'm not saying that God does or doesn't exist, but in a
vacuum, this one datapoint doesn't mean much. If EVERY
time you had an inclination that somethine bad was happening
to your daughter and you showed up and you were right, then
it might mean something.
Personally, I think your own intuition is probably to credit here,
not anything you might have heard.
Of course, your intuition would be God's gift, now, wouldn't it?
Your ability to assess danger and act on it, even if it comes
in the form of "A small voice" - that's the thing that may or may
not be divine.
My suspicion is that if it actually was God talking to you, it
would not be a small voice. Clasically, he has not been known
for his subtlety.

Beautiful story of how God works in our lives everyday. I have many stories, but the one that still shows me that God is with me everyday is: I had been baptized two days before this incident and I was coming home from work. It was about a week before Christmas and I was stuck at a red light. This was a 5-6 way intersection and I ALWAYS saw a homeless man standing there, but being the typical person that I am and a new Christian, I always passed right by making sure not to even look at him because I was being stingy. Anyway, I stay there through three light changes (our light wasn't turning green, but EVERY other light in that intersection was). I was getting really frustrated and kept looking around to see if there was a crew working on it. There was no one, but the traffic in my turn lane was getting really backed up and onto the freeway. We had been sitting there patiently for almost 20 min while everyone else was getting their green lights. At this point I am looking for a way out of the traffic and I can't find one, but my eyes locked with the homeless man's eyes and me still being stingy tried to look away, but I couldn't. My eyes were glued to his sign. It said, "no matter how old your children are, buckle them up." It really touched me and I thought about that country song "don't laugh at me." It brought tears to my eyes and I had this overwhelming feeling to give the guy something. I waited there another light change and of course ours still stayed red. Of course I only had 7.00 on me, so I went ahead and got 2.00 out and I heard loud and clear that that was not acceptable. So I went back and gave the guy a five. The second his thumb touched my finger, the light turned green. The whole way home, I was reeling. I couldn't figure out what to think about that. I told my husband that night in bed and he said that God was giving me ample time to make my decision. So, I told my husband that I would get some lunchables and take them to the guy at lunch. My husband's response that chills me still is "honey, no need to do that. That man was an angel and you will never see him again." I told him that maybe he was an angel, but that man had been standing out there EVERY day for more than a year, there was no reason for him not to be there. Well, I carried those lunchables back and forth with me for one full week to give to him and it has been one year now and I haven't seen him since. I have chills right now reliving that story. Sorry for the book, it was just a long story.

God has never answered me directly. There are times that I have seen how something as crazy as a dog off the leash could lead to my friend finding his wallet, but that could all be coincidence. Except, I chose not to believe it was coincidence.
The best examples of god in my life is when I stop holding things to me. Trying to control events and such just makes life harder. Only by letting go do I gain more in my life. It seems almost contraire but that is how it works.

It is true, that we do have an AWESOME God, I believe that if we are quite in our hearts God speaks to us, if we seek the Truth the Holy Spirit provides this to us. I myself have had several close encounters, one of which I was walking on the beach, distraught over lying to buy a car and the burdun became so heavy that I asked God to help, at that point in time I was carrying my cross and Jesus was besides me, as the story ends, I did infact lose the car but a heavy burden was lifted from my soul. So I know what you speak, and I am glad that you had listened and did the the drive to your daughters apt. I am always glad to hear about the work that God does in peoples' lives. God Bless you and yours...

That's no reason to not let her live alone
But it is a reason to say God exists
You can't watch her forever, for one day YOU will die and SHE will not
Even if she was quote end qutote "normal" she could fall prey to the same thing
It's a fact of life
Even 10 feet from you it can happen
What do you do when you are awoken by someone with Duct tape and a gun!
Home invasion happens to eveyrone and anyone
But holding her a prisoner of life makes her more handicapped than any mental problem

I don't believe, because for every story about someone being in the right place at the right time, there's two or three stories about someone being in the wrong place at the wrong time. For every story about the guy who had a "gut feeling" to not go to the store, and then it turns out that there was a gunman in there... there's another story about another guy who DID go in that store and got shot and killed. There are over six billion people on this planet, and trillions and trillions and trillions of situations happen every day, so it doesn't seem very unbelievable to me that some crazy things happen. But to me, that seems like the law of probability, not some divine influence.

it may have been god or something like that telling you to save your daughter. It also might have been her. Handicapped people are (i think) closer to the spiritual energy we all ave. She may have been the one to call you to her for help. Maybe a higher being (god, Allah, Yoda, whatever) straightened the message to allow you to hear it.
I am glad you could save her for what could have been.
Also don't let her hide in her fears. Maybe get her a small apartment again soon. I bet before this happened she loved the freedom on her own.

If I assume this is true then it would be a coincidence, what about all those people who are not given these feelings and whose daughters are murdered as a result, where was god then, if you claim he is reponsible for the good then he has to take the bad as well?
And what about all the false positives when people have these feelings and actually nothing happens.

That's an amazing coincidence, but where is God helping all the millions of people who starve every day? There are a lot more people suffering unjustly than just your daughter, and to say that there is a God that cares (about her) is to say God doesn't care about most people.
