I would like to use the software(s) for interior architecture.In the first place I would bring my plans "alive" in 3d and then would need to render the 3d. I need something straightforward and easy to use and learn.

Archicad 10 Student Edition from www.download.com, just type the title in on the search bar and download.
You can also check out more by clicking design tools in the left column, then click 3D modeling & CAD, then choose filters like OS, Free or pay, etc then filter to get results.

there is a sw called blender its not as powerful as autoCAD or others but its open source small and powerful but it is very difficult to learn

try Maya...the best..though its not a free software..
