I burnt my leg recently with very hot water, and I had three bruises only one blistered up. I used triple ointment, for minor burns and now for the scars I am using cocoa butter, and it is clearing up slowly but surely.

Ask your pharmacist for Silvadene. It is the best burn cream around. do not break blisters.

Silly as this sounds, keep it covered with a sanitary napkin. It helps keep the blisters from getting broken, and if the blisters do break, the pad will absorb the liquid.

My Hubby had 2nd degree burns on both hands and there wasn't enough gauze in the store, so I resorted to that. It worked like a charm.

Good Luck!

They do make burn ointment. You could also use neosporin. But do not use neosporin for too long as it will delay healing. Stay out of the sun, when it is close to healing you should put vitamin E on it. You might also want to take some vitamin E.

if it is scabbed up, a & d ointment helps. to help reduce scaring, neosporin. aloe vera gel will help because it's soothing and won't sting. try not to bend too far. for showers, seran wrap with duct tape on the ends to keep from getting wet.

Keep it covered with Vaseline, neosporin or polysporin until it heals.
