I have a boyfriend whom I've been with for about 7 months now. He has a job, but no car. However he does pay rent to live with his roomie in a house. We make about the same amount of money, but the only bill he has to pay is his rent $350/month... meanwhile I'm stuck with my car insurance, gas, and I am normally stuck picking up the tab..

Meanwhile, theres this guy I've met who is a total sweetheart, don't get my wrong my boyfriend is too. But this guy recently went to England to shoot a film with some friends... while he was out there he bought me this adorable necklace and now wants to take me out to dinner?

I've wanted to leave my boyfriend for a time now, am I wrong to talk to and see another guy?

its your life, live it to the full, you'll feel like sh*t if you miss it, the best things in life tend to only swing by 1ce, you'll never know what the best things are, so go for everything!

Well two things first yes it is wrong to go out with the other guy while you are still with your man you would not want him to do that to you so you should not do it to him, you should stop paying for things and tell him you guys go dutch you pay your and he pays his, don't buy him nothing like little presents. He is use to you paying for every thing because you already do it's time to say no. If you don't want to deal with him any more and he does not seem he is going to change leave him and start dating the other guy. good luck =}

It's not wrong to talk to another guy but that's as far as it should go. The old boyfriend and the new guy will both respect you for that. You need to breakup with you boyfriend if that is what you want, not because of another guy. Once free you can then see who you want.

If he cared about you, he would pay. He would try to make up the fact that you are using your car and paying for it by paying for dates.
This new guy sounds like he is always thinking about you. It doesn't seem like your current bf is, does he ever do anything special for you? Think about what makes each of them so sweet.
Its not wrong to talk to this other guy, but if you intend to date him, its only fair to break it off with your current bf.

if u found someone like that, keep him. if u arent happy with the one u are with now then u should leave and what easier way to leave when u have someone already waiting for u. go for it! try the new guy out.

Sorry, but your boyfriend sounds like a sponge. Break up with him and pursue someone else.
