No, don't give a guy flowers. Guys aren't really interested in flowers. We like to give girls flowers because we know they like it and it ends up better for us.
I don't like flowers because eventually they die. They are pretty for a few days, but then you have to throw them out. I would prefer to give or recieve a plant. That is something I can watch grow and take care of over a long period of time. And when ever I see it I would think of that person, or they would think of you.
If you want to give a guy something, think about some kind of gadget or computer related. Depending on his hobbies, get him something you know he will like and use. It will mean alot more to him. But it all really just depends on the person.
Same thing with cards, don't waste your 2 dollars on a card. Do something that shows him he knows you care. Maybe I'm just an insensitive guy, but that's my view on cards and flowers.

honestly i would love for a girl to give me flowers flowers are one of the most romantic things and im a pretty romantic kind of guy so i myself would love it

I personally would love getting flowers. Especially if they were one of my favorites, which would mean the person remembered what I like.

It does not particularly impress me. Why give cut flowers that're going to wilt and die in a few days? If you wanna help decorate my house, give me a potted plant that'll fit right in. But don't give me those fragile things that, like I said, will quickly wilt and die - 'cause when they do, they drop their petals and leaves all over and I wind up having to clean up the mess! Thanks but no thanks.

no we do not because what can we do with flowers? us guys like things that are relative to sports or when ladies let us do our things. so no guys like me do not like flowers, we like giving them but not recieving them

Honestly that depends from person to person. I myself wouldn't mind, but there are lots of insecure guys out there who find it weird.
