Okay just to point out I am highly against deforestation. But I have to write an essay on reasons why building a school over a forest is a good idea and too be honest I can't think of any so far. Please can someone help me out! Thanks

It`s not a good idea. It`s just a further destruction of nature and habitats. Suggest brownfield instead.

No. Remember the Lorax. This is an example of the school system trying to teach one how to think. List all of available places (say an abandoned parking lot or other already constructed yet nonutile area) is great to place a school in alternative to the forest. Perhaps this is a test to see how many free thinkers their are in the class. Are you one?

The "usual suspect" is money or lack of.

However, if the school was really "over a forest," as in classrooms in and above the trees it could be really wonderful. Though I doubt that this is what was meant by the phrase.

It's not a good idea.

Trees are the controllers.

There is so much for the tropical rainforests and other forests give to man.
