can I wear contacts?..how does the eye Dr determine if I can or not?

Yes you can wear contacts. They have contacts that work for almost all types of vision problems. Call your eye doctor and make an appointment to see about getting contacts if this is what you would like to do.

Contacts are worn mostly for esthetic or practical reason (sports etc.). Around the house and for reading, it's better if you wore eyeglasses. Cleaning contact lenses is a hassle and the one-a-day models are very expensive. And there's always a risk of eye infection.

they make contacts for all kinds of eye conditions, heck, people even wear them w/o needing a prescription, just to change their eye color. your doctor will help you find a brand that fits your eyes correctly. if the first pair doesn't feel right, don't hesitate to say anything, i've never been able to wear anything except one particular brand and there are plenty, good luck!
