You're hair is turning gray because it's losing it's pigmentation. This is due to a couple of things, but it's mostly genetic. Does gray hair run in your family.
With proper care, good hair cuts and products, gray hair can look quite stylish these days.

Don't listen to lu or kristen. They don't sound very smart. No one can stop aging. But if you think are prematurely gray, it could be from stress; especially if it's in one patch near your temples. Also, it just may be your genetics. I've had gray hair since I was 16 so there's nothing wrong with you. If you're self conscious about it; color it.

I started getting white hairs when I was 18. I'm now only 33 and got quite a lot. I've been dyeing my hair since I can remember. Apparently it's genetic, my mum also went grey very early. However the good side is that my mum now has pure white hair and it looks very elegant and she's 57 so hopefully I can pull of the Honor Blackman look myself one day.

Your hair is turning gray because you are an American. If you were English, your hair would turn grey.

I think you mean grey ? The answer to that could lie in genetics did the older members of your family turn grey at a young age ? you don't say how old you are ? Are you worrying a lot about something ?

As we age, our hair loses melanin, it's just a natural process, unfortunately,
but if you are young and have premature greying hair,
you might be suffering from an auto-immune condition,
vitilego stems to mind......
or vitamin B deficiency. If you are worried, speak to your doctor about it.
You may wish to dye it or have some foils put back into your hair to disguise it. Worry has nothing to do with going grey either.
best of luck : )

i have very, very dark brown hair, and sometimes i get a grey strand here or there. if that is the case with your hair, it may simply be because the pigment of your hair is so dark. the strands run out of pigment over time and begin to grow grey.

have you tried the Prince Andrew look? Oh I see that is the problem. I know it's dated now but you could try Grecian 2000.
